And it's not even my birthday
My brother and sister-in-law decided to give me pick-me-up surprise and bought me a Magic Bullet. Relax non-informercial-watching readers, I'm still very much a pacifist. It's not really a weapon, unless you consider dip-making a martial art (of course, this doesn't mean I can't hurt myself with it, but that's another blog entry).
It's a mixing, grinding, chopper-upper that's supposedly easy to use (and works in seconds!) I've wanted one since I saw the informercial one morning when I played hooky from work. I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm hoping it really does what the enthusiastic lady on tv says it would. I'm ready to make some 10-second guacamole.

Wow...that is amazing! I know I was tempted after the infomerical, but to really own a Magic Bullet...did you get those mugs that they had on the infomercial?
Jake on January 23, 2006 11:15 AMLadies on TV are always enthusiastic. They only want one thing. Stupid ladies on TV.
dave on January 24, 2006 11:22 AMJake, I did get the mugs. I got everything, including the juicer thingy, though I don't think I'll be using it. I still have to test everything out.
Drina on January 24, 2006 11:37 AMI don't watch much TV, so I had never heard of the Magic Bullet. The first thing I thought of was some kind of vibrator.
To misquote the United Negro College Fund, a dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Kid Charlemagne on January 24, 2006 12:56 PMDrina - It sounds like your life is complete. As I remember from the infomercial, you can make every meal with that thing. "And Clean up is a snap!?!".
But seriously, sounds like fun https://www.sonafide.com//smiles/yes.gif
