Grievance of the day
I'm growing tired of reading music reviews that claim an artist is "taking it to the next level." It's old, it's tired. Stop using that phrase. Please.

Spaced out, Kid Charlemagne
Kid Charlemagne on September 15, 2005 03:10 AMOkay...so now the phrase can be used for bloggers..."visit sonafide.com where Drina takes it to the next level"...sorry...had to be said. I agree with you though. If all these musicians were taking it to the next level...we would have far better music. Or maybe they all started off on a lower level than the people who made music about 10 years ago. I get scared especially when reviews say something like "Jessica Simpson takes it to a new level with her new song"...what level was she on before? I did not know there where levels that low.
