The view from up here
I thought I would add another picture of my beautiful Fat Bastard, because I don't think there are enough pictures of him on sonafide.com (please people, tame your shameless heckling). He's almost two years old, so he's bound to kick the bucket any day now. Might as well immortalize him while I can. Sleepyhead:

Eww, you probably didn't want to know then, that at work we have a fridge to temporarily keep rats that died, and a few times I kept my pop in there. Heheh.
Drina on May 3, 2004 10:03 PMwhen i saw that photo, i thought for sure he was a goner. good thing he was only sleeping.

Karl on May 5, 2004 01:55 PMDrina! I just got a baby rat (well he's a couple of months old probably) at the petstore yesterday! He will be my third rat. A couple of years ago I had Benny & Joon - they were sweet and I miss them. Ratties just don't live long enough!
I hope Fat Bastard lives to be 3 (some do! You never know!)
I'm naming my little ratboy Billy Rosewood - after the cop from the Beverly Hills Cop movies :) He was always my favorite character from those movies. And this little guy looks like a Billy - it just fits him.
He is so freakin' adorable! He a solid peach color and is tiny and soft.
I knew it was meant to be the moment he was placed in my hands and tried with all his tiny might to "dig" out of my grasp. Actually I knew it was meant to be when he pooped on that petstore employee ;)

this is a creepy story, but i thought i would share it seeing how you're talking about rat death...
when my sister had pet rats, they died in the winter time so she couldn't bury them. SO SHE PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER AND BURIED THEM IN THE SPRING.
in the freezer. with, like, food and stuff.
IT'S AMAZING I'M STILL ALIVE!!! ;)
