Why do things like this happen?

According to the news websites, the body of Laci Peterson (the missing woman from Ca) was identified. I had been praying she would be found alive, like just about everyone else out there. I just... feel such sorrow for her & her family. I can't imagine what they're feeling.

i agree with you. the night i heard that they had found two bodies, one belonging to a baby and another to a woman who had maternity clothes, my heart dropped. to this day i can't get over how ugly a crime was committed. whenever i see laci's youthful smiling face, i am so saddened her life ended so abruptly. and her baby boy's. i, too, can't even imagine what her family is going through during this time.

I went to school with Laci Peterson's sister. I live about 20 minutes from Modesto. It's very sad.
