Home from the windy cityJune 1, 2004 | 09:10 AMChicago is officially my new favorite city (of course, I say the same thing about every place I visit, but it was honestly a really hot town). I got back Sunday afternoon after spending 3 nights in a downtown hotel. It's great to be sleeping in my own bed again, although Euclid is nowhere near as exciting. There were so many things to do... so many places I wanted to see that I didn't get to hit them all. Maybe a summer road trip is in order. There's still an art museum and a planetarium calling me there. But I had a lot of fun... observe:
David from Real World season 7 and the RW/RR Challenge: the Inferno was staying at our hotel. I didn't get a chance to say hi or take a picture... I didn't want to be a pain in the ass, so I let him hang out in the hotel lobby undisturbed. It was fun to see a Real World alum though. David, bring CT along next time :) Comments:On Home from the windy cityuh, girly where is that new layout you were promising? Posted by: Andy at June 1, 2004 01:36 PMhey hey! I didn't get to go downtown though :( I really wanted too! Chicago is my favorite big city, but I might just be biased ;) You absolutely have to check out the Art Institute! Posted by: kc at June 1, 2004 09:58 PMKC, I was planning on it --my favorite painting, Cassatt's Bath, is housed there. We just didn't have time :( We did hit some cool galleries though. Deb, when did you meet Steve? Was he at BW? Posted by: Drina at June 1, 2004 10:55 PMNow if only we could find Dorie,The night photo is great, it is also nice to put a face to the name.
